Rising Royals Slot
Just For The Win and Microgaming have joined hands to release quite a few slot machines together lately, and Rising Royals appears to be one of the better designed ones, graphics wise at least. Telling us a story about French nobility from the Middle Ages, it certainly looks the part, and it delivers medium volatility and very low top payouts.
Welcome to the Rising Royals, where the luxury is blinding, the rose gardens glittering and the prince is looking to finally take a new bride. This is Rising Royals, the new slot from Just For The Win. It is another in a long line of excellent pokies titles from the brand, and testimony that they are. Rising Royals takes place in front of the Palace of Versailles and you can admire its beauty throughout the game because the reels are not opaque. This is a nice touch to the slot that gives it a very elegant and refined look. The reels appear to be some sort of garden.
The developer came up with a game that has 5 reels, occupied by 20 active lines. With a 300x top payout, which could mean up to $75,000 cash, Rising Royals doesn’t do nearly well enough to be of interest for most players, even with its medium volatility and 96.01% RTP. Otherwise, count on finding inside upgrading symbols, re-spins and locked symbols, in what seems like too short of a list of features.
Betting and Prizes
In order to play Rising Royals, you need to pick the wager for the entire game area, and the range in which you’re playing is going to go from $0.10 to $250.
Despite the gorgeous graphics, which tend to make me excited about playing a slot machine, it will fast become apparent that Rising Royals will pay at most 300x total stake, per spin. Even at its highest wager, that only means $75,000 cash, a top prize that is disappointingly low. For a slot with medium volatility, like this one, I’d expect to be able to do a lot better.
Even so, it should be noted that the game does have an RTP that most would consider acceptable, at 96.01%. While the slot is as fair as most games it’s competing against, the excitement factor is lacking.

Rising Royals Slot Features
The game is missing a couple of features that are found in most slot machines these days, and by that I mean the wild and the scatter.
As for the features that have been included, one of them is the Respin and its Symbol Upgrade. You just need a combo of high value symbols to be formed. The involved symbols will be locked, and a respin will come next. The respin feature continues if high value combinations form or get improved. You only get paid once the feature is over, for all combinations present on the reels at the time.
Upgrading symbols is a matter of getting locked combinations on the reels, during respins. Get three, and the Chandelier style meter is fully lit up. Once that happens, all locked symbols get upgraded to the next level.
That’s it for the game’s features. As I mentioned above, you don’t get wilds or scatters, so the features all depend on high value combinations forming for you. It’s not exactly something that you can count on happening often, and even if it does, they don’t pay all that much.
Theme & Design
Royal Slots Free Slot Machines
With French aristocracy under the microscope, Rising Royals does a great job at placing these characters in front of our eyes. With gorgeous designs, at least for the high value symbols, I found the game a lot of fun to look at. I wasn’t as interested in the low value Royal symbols, even though they have a bit of a special design to go with the theme. Overall, I really enjoyed this game, it’s just a shame that it doesn’t do better in other areas.
Conclusion
Rising Royals promises a lot if you go by its graphics, but doesn’t live up to expectations and disappoints when it comes to features and top payouts.
